A lucky internship turned into a career and put me in a room with the Prime Minister of Canada.

my story

In early 2014, six months after I graduated from Vancouver Island University with a BA in Creative Writing, I was broke and unable to find work. Then a 3-month internship with the Liberal Party of Canada sent me to the other side of the country.

My adaptability saved me as I jumped head-first into the job, documenting Justin Trudeau and the Liberal team to provide our growing social media channels with video content. Fast, entertaining, quality video products were the goal, and I created hundreds in my time at LPC.

After 5 years and 2 Federal Elections, I moved to Montreal and felt it was time to live and work in the same city, so I joined Data Sciences to take what I learned at LPC and apply it worldwide.

Now I’ve participated in elections in the UK, Norway, and several more here in Canada (including the 2021 Federal Election). I work with corporate and non-profit clients to spread brand awareness or gather donations.
